Data
The EEA makes the ETS data available at national level in a user-friendly manner. The data and associated metadata can be accessed at the EU ETS data site. The ETS data viewer offers an interactive visualisation of the data.
EU ETS data are centralised through the Union Registry and its Transaction Log, an online database managed by the European Commission, which guarantees accurate accounting for all allowances issued under the system. The EEA and the European Topic Centre for Climate Change Mitigation and Energy make three extractions per year from this registry to develop their analysis and products. These data are integrated with other data sources, such as projections of GHG emissions, energy statistics and carbon prices.
