This page provides access to key data sources and documentation related to the monitoring of the real-world emissions from new cars and vans.

*Disclaimer: These datasets contain the real-world CO2 emissions and fuel/energy consumption data as reported by vehicle manufacturers and countries, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2019/631 and Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/392. It is published in full, as reported, for transparency. As per regulation, the Commission shall each year publish anonymized and aggregated datasets that shall be split between passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
Datasets contain all reported data by manufacturers and countries, including a small proportion of outlier entries. These are not corrected or removed from the raw dataset, but flagged by the column ‘Used in calculation’, taking the value of ‘0’ if not retained for the real-world gap calculation.
